30 Reason’s I Love You!

On our 30 Year Anniversary!

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels (Proverbs 31:10). It is clear that to find an excellent wife is not an easy task–“who can find,” indicating that not many, “can find” an “excellent wife.”

Here are 30 reasons that only you will understand because we have lived them out over our 30 year journey. From the first day I saw you until this day, May 31st, 2016.

•Your smile was intoxicating

•Your personality pulled me in like the ocean tide

•Your face shined like the sun

•Your beauty was unmatchable

•Your friendship was something I longed for

•When I held your hand I felt your heartbeat

•When I held your hand I felt at home

•When I asked you said yes

•When I took your hand it was exhilarating

•When I hold your hand it is forever

•When we married you showed me grace

•When I failed you picked me up

•When I failed you took me back

•When I failed you lifted me up

•When I failed you stood by my side

•You were faithful when I wasn’t

•You followed the truth when I didn’t

•You lead by example when I couldn’t

•You held us together when I wouldn’t

•You wouldn’t give up when I already quit

•We became more than we ever thought we could be

•We became “one flesh” where we should be

•We became a “United Front” where together we can accomplish anything

•We became inseparable where only death can temporarily divide

•We became best friends where no other is allowed

•You always brighten my day

•You always believe in me

•You always fill my life with joy

•You always wipe away my tears

•You always will be, “MY EXCELLENT WIFE!”

And in finding this “excellent wife,” is not only a great accomplishment, but “far” more “precious” than “jewels!” Wealth, power, ease of living, anything you can buy, popularity, all pale in comparison to finding an excellent wife (Proverbs 31:10).

With every ounce of my heart!
